"A Warm Beacon On A Cold Night"
18" x 24" Oil on Linen
What a sense of relief this cowboy must feel to see this small town appear in the distant moonlit valley. It's cold out there and having ridden a good part of the day and into this night, he is ready for something hot to eat, something strong to drink, and a bed. I don't know if this guy is on the grub line or is just traveling through to get somewhere else. But this will be home for a couple of days anyway. |
