A friend of mine who loved to hunt Chukar Partridge also raised and trained his own dogs.  He had a little Brittany puppy he named "Darby" and was very proud  of the little guy and he felt the dog had great promise.  He had seen my stamp paintings and asked me to do one of his pup.  This was the result.  Darby was a pretty little guy and was a lot smarter than most others. . . .or so I heard!
