"Early Morning Move"

12" x 16" Oil on Linen

Hitting the trail as soon as possible in the day is the tried and true way to travel.  For the Nomads of the Plains, it was a way of life.  The encampment could be packed and stowed on travois and the cavalcade moving in a surprisingly small amount of time.  You do it often enough you make it a science wrapped in art.
