It's just plain nice to have a slicker on in weather like this.  Returning to the barn after checking every arroyo and hill for missing cattle makes a long day.  Still, rain is too important to complain about when it finally comes after a long dry spell.  This hand is not complaining but he is looking forward to a warm fire and a hot plate of cornbread and beans!
