When Winter arrived and the days got real short, overland travel often ran out of daylight before they got to their destination.  The end of the leg could be anywhere but usually had a hotel and cafe and a saloon, sometimes all in the same building.  This stage and it's cargo are about an hour or so away from those comforts.  Thankfully it's a full moon and the visibility is good.  Hang in there folks!
