Pistol Creek is a tributary of the Middle Fork of the Salmon River in Central Idaho and is located in the Frank Church Wilderness.  Folks who have had the good fortune to visit the area by hiking or packing in or floating the Middle Fork of the Salmon River, are rewarded by a singular experience in one of the most pristine and breathtakingly wild and natural environments anywhere.  To say it is scenic is to say the Grand Canyon is a pretty nice ditch.
