"Sioux Moccasins"
3" x 5" Gouache on Illustration Board
I really enjoyed doing these smaller Gouache paintings. I liked to collect them from other artists and I consider the ones I bought, or traded for, as kinda like jewelry. I didn't take photos of many that I painted because they didn't seem important enough at the time. But, they were inexpensive and were popular among a lot of people who bought art regularly or never bought before.
The moccasins I painted are from my personal collection and were made in the 1940's at Pine Ridge Sioux Reservation, South Dakota.
