Couple of hunters from somewhere that are pausing to sort of scout the foothills and look for good spots for a camp as they pack in.  Mule Deer and Elk seasons are both open.  Snow is moving the animals down. The days are nice but the mornings are frosty and downright cold.   Could get snow in the valleys any time now.  This is what they live for.
