A warrior cannot be too careful when it comes to his people and all their worldly goods.  A lot of emotions come into play and measures are taken to insure the safety of lives and property.  The Outriders played an important part in keeping vigilance whenever the people moved to a new encampment site. Always on guard and alert, they were sometimes seen and oft time not.  It most personified their stark dedication to survival during the most vulnerable of their times .
